British industry calls on government to extend scope of patent box

The Confederation of British Industry (CBI) sent its submission to the Treasury today in anticipation of the 2012 budget.
In the organisations recommendations, which totalled approximately £500 million ($785 million) an amount described as fitting with the governments expenditure limitations the CBI is broadly concerned with improving the UKs competitiveness and simplifying the tax code.
