American Apparel’s transfer pricing under scrutiny

Media reports suggest a US clothing manufacturer has been issued with a subpoena (government writ) over its transfer pricing, but the reasons remain unknown.
Bloomberg revealed that American Apparel, which promotes their clothes as made in America and free from sweatshop labour, has been issued with a subpoena by the US Attorneys Office for the Central District of California over its foreign currency transactions and transfer pricing policies.
