China settles as many TP investigations as it initiates

China’s State Administration of Taxation (SAT) has confirmed it initiated 178 transfer pricing investigations in 2010 and concluded the same amount.
SAT this week released its official summary of statistics which stated that the total tax liability, across the board, in 2010 was RMB10.272 billion ($1.6 billion). The statistics include RNB7.2 billion collected from administration, RMB796 million from services and RMB2.31 billion from investigation.
