European Commission proposes CCCTB

The European Commission today unveiled its proposal for a common consolidated corporate tax base (CCCTB) system for calculating the tax base of businesses operating in the EU.
After much speculation, the plan is for an optional system where a company can file one consolidated tax return, with one administration, for its entire activity within the EU.
