Machado Associados hires former government head of transfer pricing

Elen Orsini has left the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service and joined Machado Associados.
Orsini is now a senior consultant in the firm's transfer pricing team after spending over 22 years as a tax auditor for the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service. She worked in the income tax and international taxation areas for the government and participated in the creation and implementation of the Special Division for International Affairs - Deain in São Paulo, where she was head of the transfer pricing inspection division.
Having played an important part in the creation of the relevant transfer pricing legislation in force in Brazil, Orsini will be a considerable booster to the firm's expertise in how to ensure clients comply with the difficult regulations.
