New code raises questions about Indian APAs

The Indian government will increase taxpayer confidence by allowing advance pricing agreements (APAs) for the first time, but concerns have been raised about how they will be implemented.
The announcement to introduce APAs came last week as part of the countrys new draft direct tax code, three years since discussions began over whether to introduce them.
