Methodologies may have to change during recession

In unprecedented economic times for transfer pricing, some commentators believe that existing transfer pricing models need to change to deal with the situation.
This is the first time weve had to defend transfer pricing in a sustained downturn, said Steve Hasson, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK, in a webcast. Multinational companies should adequately document their transfer pricing positions as previously beneficial transfer pricing structures may now be producing tax inefficiencies.
