China transfer pricing filing deadlines changed
April 22, 2009
As if filing returns under the new corporate income tax regime in China was not difficult enough, the authorities have started moving deadlines around, adding more pressure for taxpayers.
Many district tax authorities have changed the filing deadline dates in their jurisdiction from the original date of May 31 2009. Some deadlines are now as early as April 20 2009 and others as late as June 9 2009. This means for some taxpayers the cut-off that was six weeks away is now imminent or even passed as is the case in the Yangpu area of Shanghai.
