Denmark punishes Intel for tax avoidance

The Danish tax authorities are demanding DKr3.6 billion ($637 million) in back taxes from a multinational company that it claims used aggressive transfer pricing to avoid paying the proper amount of tax
The Danish Ministry of Taxation (SKAT) has accused Intel, a global computer processor provider, of tax evasion of DKr2.5 billion in taxes, plus interest, when it bought Danish computing company Giga in 2000.
