Namibian mining royalties to be extended beyond transfer pricing cases

The Ministry of Mines and Energy in Namibia wants to amend a section of the existing Minerals Act to impose a royalty on all minerals mined or discovered during prospecting operations
The rule in place now only applies to certain mining sectors, on a case by case basis, when the mining company sold its output via transfer pricing or below market value.
