Gardere hires economist

A former Treasury and IRS official is joining US law firm Gardere Wynne Sewell as its chief economist

Tracy Gomes will be responsible for economic research, analysis and valuation. He will also work with the transfer pricing practice, analysing and valuing intercompany transactions, as well as providing pricing planning studies for international tax strategies, and consulting on dispute resolution.
