Denso gets transfer pricing charge in billions

Denso Corporation has revealed that Japanese tax authorities have demanded about ¥7.3 billion ($68 million) in transfer pricing surcharges from the company
The Nagoya Regional Taxation Bureau examined the company's transactions with overseas units in the six years to March 2007, concluding that DENSO was ¥15.5 billion short in the income it had reported.
