In the first in a series of keynote articles on the European Union Joint Transfer Pricing Forum, EUJTPF member Dirk van Stappen discusses its current focus
The EU Joint Transfer Pricing Forum (JTPF), which was formally set up by the European Commission in June 2002, consists of representatives from business and tax administrations in the EU. The mandate of the EU JTPF is to discuss practical transfer pricing problems in the EU, within the framework of the OECD transfer pricing guidelines. To date, the JTPF has produced codes of conduct on the EU Arbitration Convention and EU Transfer Pricing Documentation, and a report on dispute avoidance and resolution procedures including guidelines for advance pricing agreements (APAs) within the EU.
