The interest of the Czech tax authorities in transfer pricing matters has significantly increased over the past few years. As transfer pricing is rather complex and requires certain levels of specific knowledge and experience, it has not in practice been challenged on a daily basis yet. However, the tax authorities are gaining the necessary experience, and a special group has been established within the Czech tax authorities to focus on intra-company arrangements and scrutinise them in detail.
