New Zealand transfer pricing documentation guide

Leslie Prescott-Haar, of Ernst & Young, outlines the approach to transfer pricing documentation requirements in New Zealand

There is no explicit statutory requirement to prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation in New Zealand. However, Inland Revenue considers it to be in the taxpayer’s best interests to prepare documentation that demonstrates the process followed in determining arm’s length transfer prices.
