Rhett Liu, who is based in Hong Kong, concentrates on transfer pricing consultancy, dispute resolution between taxpayers and tax authorities, advance pricing arrangements, cross border-related party transactions, structuring and planning.

Jeff Yuan is further north in Shanghai. His brief is providing transfer pricing services and relevant corporate tax planning services to multinational companies or Chinese companies in various industries.

Qisheng Yu joined PwC as a full time transfer pricing economist in 1998 and was based in Chicago for six years prior to transferring to Beijing in 2004.

During the six years with PwC Chicago, he provided a broad range of transfer pricing services to numerous multinational clients in a wide array of industries such as automotive, business services, chemicals, consumer products, energy, industrial products, information technologies, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and wholesale and retail. Such services include transfer pricing planning and compliance documentation analyses, business and intangible property valuation, transfer pricing audit support, and assistance in negotiation of advance pricing arrangements.

Since he joined PwC China, he has been advising clients on transfer pricing matters on a national basis, and has conducted many round table discussions with Chinese tax officials across the country.
